I stayed at the Holiday Inn on the lake and there was a walking path that led up to 'The Island', however I drove and free parked. There is something for everyone in your party to do here. I can't remember the restaurant where I had the best buffalo shrimp in my life but the cute huge bear will forever be in my memories. I sang the tunes as the light water show played on. The balconies were decorated and there were plenty of small novelty stores on site. Some of the rooms were located along the river. The multi level "Margaritaville" hotel was so cute and colorful. I truly enjoyed the concept of this social setting.
